Interfacial and Bioanalytical Chemistry (IBAC)
Interfacial and Bioanalytical Chemistry (IBAC) provides a unique focus for graduate education in electroanalytical methods, surface-plasmon resonance spectroscopy, sum-frequency and second-harmonic generation, Raman microscopy, single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy, and nanoscale self-assembled structures
Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the U’s Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry (CSOE) a $20 million grant to improve the sustainability of synthetic chemistry. The center merges synthetic organic chemistry and electrochemistry to develop safe and sustainable chemical production methods. For more details on the mission and vision of CSOE, see: CSOE Mission and Vision video.
