Luisa Whittaker-Brooks is an associate professor who has been recognized nationally for her research program focusing on the synthesis of organic and inorganic materials for energy conversion and storage, among other things.
The U Presidential Scholar award recognizes excellence in assistant and associate professors and grants the recipients $10,000 in annual funding for three years to support their research activities. Whittaker-Brooks will be a recipient until the year 2025. This program is funded by an anonymous donor.
